LANA DEL REY X INTERVIEW MAGAZINE
February 5th, 2012SKIN: HIGH ART + TATTOO CULTURE
February 5th, 2012“Directed by Ryan Hope, Skin is a dark, stylish examination of tattoo culture as high art, and a film that tests the boundaries of art and the human body.
Featuring contributions from Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons and Raymond Pettibon, the film is a beautiful visual essay from the frontiers of contemporary British art.”
I had not seen anything so well executed and inspiring in a long time. Be careful… it will suck you in and won’t let you go until the very end. You won’t regret it. Excellent.

SHOE PARTY
February 2nd, 2012We all have pair. I’m not talking about just any pair or those shoes that look better “dirty”. I’m talking about the certain few in our collection that we are afraid to walk in. We are afraid of even the slightest scuff marks. We cringe with every step. But what is a shoe if it can not be worn? Is it a piece of art merely to be admired? I say party. Life wouldn’t be fun without the risks. And if you get a few scuff marks here and there, at least you’ll have a story to tell and you looked good doing it.
Your Summer 2011 Playlist…and a much needed update
August 8th, 2011So, I started this blog back in 2009. I wanted a space to share all things I found aesthetically pleasing (be it music, fashion, art)…everything that inspired me day by day. I also wanted to share the projects my friends were involved in. LA is a place full of great artists (actors, musicians, designers, photographers, models)…in other words, a great place to document lifestyle.
After about a year of working on it, I met Jeremy Fall and began to work with him behind the scenes to create Cliché Magazine. I worked as the Executive Editor, fashion editor, and currently remain an online editor. I was also busy finishing up my Art and Spanish degrees. I interned here and there, did some work for Nickelodeon… and got to attend an array of amazing events where I had the opportunity to gain experience in the overlapping worlds of aesthetics . I also spread myself too thin. However my inspiration hasn’t gone away and I want to continue to curate this space for you. I will be back in to City of Angels next month and hope to keep this full blown for you.
I want it to be a space where you can lose yourself and unwind at the end of the day. A space where all of my inspirations will collide and hopefully inspire you.
Lastly, I would like to provide you with a few songs updates I’ve been in love with this summer so far.
Better late than never…or so they say.
